The ideal candidate will have experience building sales teams from scratch, growing the sales leadership skills of other leaders, consistently delivering $500M+ quotas, executing sales strategy and tactics, developing cross-functional relationships, and voice customer feedback to internal stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • While always placing the customer first, lead the team to deliver results by executing daily, weekly, and monthly targets in support of operating objectives
  • Ownership in the continued build-out and documentation of infrastructure practices and processes for acquiring customers and managed spend agreements
  • Constantly strive to raise the bar in terms of talent, execution, process design, goals, and incentives
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing, Managed Spend Solutions, Product Tech, and other partner teams to test, measure, and execute on growth plans for the business.

. Partner with Category and Product Management teams to provide customer perspective and engagement opportunities, as well as customer-driven product improvement ideas.

About the team

This leader will lead our Field team which focuses on our customers that have a bifurcated work force (corporate office and field employment). At Amazon Business, we strive to solve our business customers' procurement problems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree, or BA degree
  • 7+ years of people management experience
  • Experience rapidly growing an organization and attracting, hiring, and maintaining top talent
  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
  • Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline
  • Knowledge of B2B procurement processes
  • 10 years of P&L leadership, sales management and/or operations experience
  • Strong quantitative skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer's business
  • Experience working with teams and executive leadership in a complex enterprise environment
  • Experience leading and influencing your team or organization
  • Experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes, or experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, CRMs (Salesforce) and other systems
  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
  • MBA, or Master's degree

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
