Compensation Overview
The salary range for this role is $109,300.00 - $180,200.00 annually, influenced by various factors such as role complexity, experience, and location. Additionally, employees are eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our comprehensive benefits program.

What Is the Opportunity?
As a pivotal member of the Travelers team, you will play a key role in leveraging data-driven insights to drive business success in our digital marketing efforts. We are looking for a Manager of Decision Science with extensive marketing experience who can evaluate the effectiveness of organic website traffic and content strategies. This position combines advanced analytics with digital marketing initiatives aimed at enhancing content effectiveness, audience engagement, and generating demand through clear, actionable intelligence.
Reporting to the AVP of Marketing Analytics and Decision Science, you will utilize statistical modeling, machine learning, and performance measurement tools to assess the impact of SEO-focused content strategies. Your insights will guide digital marketing decisions and contribute to our business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Use Google Analytics 4 and related tools to measure organic performance and identify audience segments, distinguishing results from paid amplification effects.
- Collaborate with Content Marketing and SEO teams to refine organic KPIs, ensuring alignment with marketing goals and incorporating GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) analytics when applicable.
- Deepen your understanding of the business for data procurement necessary for specific analyses and prototypes, while adhering to coding best practices.
- Develop expertise in internal data sources and explore new data avenues to assess potential business value.
- Employ appropriate analytical techniques, including diagnostic analysis and multivariate methods, to address business questions and evaluate results.
- Identify and propose new data and analytic tools, techniques, and best practices for business challenges.
- Present analytic insights visually (charts, graphs, etc.) for effective communication with diverse audiences.
- Interpret findings for key stakeholders and recommend actionable business strategies based on your analytical insights.
- Leverage established partnerships across functional teams to influence and enhance analytic outcomes.
- Mentor less experienced analytics professionals, assist with onboarding new hires and interns, and contribute to talent recruitment processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field, or a Business School Master's Degree with a concentration in a technical or analytical area.
- A minimum of four years of relevant experience in data analytics.
- Proficiency in explanatory, diagnostic, and inferential techniques such as experimental design and statistical modeling algorithms.
- Experience handling large-scale multidimensional data with knowledge of analytical programming languages.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively and ensure timely deliverables.
- Proactive in identifying challenges and improving business processes for efficiency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain analyses and methodologies to business partners.
- Ability to build and sustain professional relationships within the data and analytics community across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or three years of experience in a relevant analytical field.
