About the Role

The Social Media & Content Coordinator helps bring the brand of one of Canada’s most beloved Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs) to life across our digital channels. This role blends creativity with execution, producing crave-worthy content, managing day-to-day social activity, and supporting integrated campaigns that celebrate our food, our people, and the energy of the in-store experience.

With a pulse on culture, trends, and what gets people talking (and hungry), the ideal candidate will craft storytelling that builds brand love, drives traffic, and keeps our brand top of mind. As an integral member of the marketing team, they will ensure that organic content works hand-in-hand with promotions, LTOs, and paid media to maximize reach and performance.

This role also champions community engagement by sparking conversations, nurturing fans, and ensuring every interaction reflects the warmth and hospitality the brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with your Marketing team to build and execute the annual social and content roadmap
  • Own the editorial calendar, aligning content with campaigns, product launches, and brand priorities
  • Concept, capture, and publish engaging content across core platforms, including coordinating shoots and managing asset delivery
  • Collaborate with internal teams, franchise partners, agencies, and creators to develop authentic, food-led storytelling
  • Oversee photography, video, and influencer collaborations, directing production as needed
  • Ensure brand voice and visual consistency across all corporate channels
  • Monitor trends, platform updates, and guest conversations, responding in real time and escalating issues when required
  • Manage community engagement and DMs to strengthen guest relationships and brand sentiment
  • Track and report on performance, delivering insights and recommendations to optimize content and campaigns
  • Support blog and long-form content that highlights menu innovation, brand stories, and franchise success

What You’ll Bring

  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with 1–3 years of experience
  • Hands-on experience managing multiple platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of social media analytics and performance tracking
  • Strong writing and editing skills with sharp attention to tone and detail
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress
  • Familiarity with social listening and review tools (e.g., Sprout or similar) and email marketing platforms
  • Comfort navigating emerging platforms, tools, and reporting methods
  • Photography and video capture/editing skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Knowledge of, or interest in, AI content creation tools (Midjourney, Nano Banana, etc.)
