Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Senior Manager- Client Events. This leader will play a critical role in shaping and elevating the client experience across the Zone. This position is responsible for supporting the strategic development, coordination, and seamless execution of both in-store and out-of-store events, with a focus on High-End categories, including High Jewelry & High Watchmaking, Store Openings, special collaborations and key sporting partnerships.

Serving as a trusted partner to regional teams and cross functional stakeholders, the Senior Manager ensures that all events reflect Louis Vuitton's exceptional savoir-faire and delivers meaningful business impact. The role requires advanced event expertise, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to lead multiple high-stakes projects with autonomy and authority.

EVENT STRATEGY & EXECUTION

  • Oversee execution of in-store and out-of-store events across the Zone, ensuring all activations uphold brand guidelines and standards, focusing on events around High-End categories, including High Jewelry and High Watchmaking, Travel, Store Openings, special collaborations and projects.
  • Support the planning, cross functional collaboration, and execution of tentpole high-end out-of-store events, including annual High Watch, High Jewelry and High-End programs, acting as the primary project lead and on-site contact.
  • Propose innovative event formats, new concepts, and elevated guest experiences in partnership with the Senior Director of Client Events.
  • Support in building and updating the annual regional activation calendar.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION

  • Partner with local and global cross-functional stakeholders—including Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Retail, Client Development, and Creative Services—to ensure alignment on messaging, priorities, and operational needs.
  • Support Regional Client Events Managers, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and exceptional execution.

BUDGET MANAGEMENT & REPORTING

  • Manage individual event budgets, forecasting needs, and ensuring responsible allocation of resources.
  • Deliver monthly budget reporting and variance analysis to the Senior Director.
  • Communicate monthly budget standings to regional teams and ensure budget compliance and accuracy across the Zone.
  • Partner closely with Procurement to negotiate and follow compliance.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Maintain flawless event execution standards, vendor management, and logistical oversight, consistently delivering elevated and polished experiences.
  • Balance multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while maintaining calm, clarity, and precision. Ensure all events meet operational, legal, sustainability, and brand guidelines.

Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in retail luxury event management, particularly within the High Jewelry, High Watchmaking, or similar luxury sectors, with a deep appreciation for bespoke client experiences.

  • Strategic Planning & Vision: Ability to contribute to strategic event calendars and propose innovative formats that captivate and engage a discerning clientele.
  • Operational Mastery: Proven ability to manage all logistical, vendor, and compliance aspects of complex events with meticulous precision.
  • Collaborative Leadership: A natural leader and team player, adept at fostering productive relationships with cross-functional teams and regional partners to ensure cohesive execution.
  • Financial Stewardship: Strong skills in budget development, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring optimal resource utilization and financial accountability.
  • Proactive & Resilient: Thrives in a demanding environment, demonstrating proactive problem-solving, adaptability, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously with grace and precision.
  • Tech Savvy: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • The candidate should also exhibit outstanding communication and influence skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively in both verbal and written formats.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed and work evenings and weekends in support of events.

The appointed candidate will be offered an annual salary range within USD $140,000 – $150,000, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
