About The Role

We're hiring a Senior SEO Lead to own and scale HeyGen's organic growth strategy. You'll step into a high-leverage role leading our SEO team and be responsible for driving strategy, execution, infrastructure, and velocity.

This is not an agency oversight role. You'll be deep in the data, close to the content engine, and building the systems, processes, and strategy that take us to the next level.

We've already proven organic can be a growth engine now we need someone who can operationalize it.

What You'll Own

• Set the strategy and roadmap for HeyGen's SEO program, across technical SEO, content velocity, and new growth surfaces.
• Lead and grow our 3-person SEO team - ensuring clarity, execution, and output.
• Build and maintain scalable SEO infrastructure: templates, automation, internal linking, content ops, etc.
• Own our GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) strategy, ensuring HeyGen stays ahead in a rapidly evolving search landscape.
• Partner cross-functionally with content, web, data, and product teams to execute SEO initiatives end-to-end.
• Report on SEO performance with clarity and strategic depth.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of SEO experience with in-house leadership experience in high-growth B2B, B2C or SaaS environments.
• Proven track record of driving SEO-led growth through both technical execution and team leadership.
• Strong understanding of modern SEO, including AI-generated content, indexation challenges, and programmatic SEO.
• Operational excellence, you can build scalable systems and keep teams shipping fast.
• Deep comfort with SEO data, tools, and frameworks.
• Strong cross-functional communicator who can align stakeholders around SEO priorities.

Salary Range

$180,000 – $220,000 annually

HeyGen considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, and internal equity, as well as location, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
