Bayntree Wealth Advisors is a Scottsdale-based financial planning firm dedicated to helping clients enjoy the retirement of their dreams. Our marketing team produces a wide range of educational content including long-form YouTube videos, short-form social media clips, podcasts, and client events designed to educate and engage our audience.

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Marketing Intern to support our growing digital content production efforts. This role offers hands-on experience working alongside an experienced marketing team and contributing directly to real marketing campaigns and media production.

This internship is part-time during the summer (approximately 10+ hours per week) with the opportunity to continue part-time during the school year.

This position is in-person in Scottsdale and is ideal for a student entering their junior or senior year of college who is interested in digital marketing, content production, and AI-powered marketing tools.

What You’ll Do

As a Marketing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our content production and marketing initiatives.

Content Production Support

• Assist with the production and coordination of weekly long-form YouTube videos and short-form social media clips
• Support the creation and distribution of video content across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
• Use tools like Opus Clips to generate short-form clips from long-form video content
• Assist with uploading, organizing, and preparing video content for publishing
• Support content scheduling and publishing across social media platforms

Content Workflow & Project Coordination

• Help manage timelines and tasks associated with content production
• Coordinate project tasks between the internal marketing team and external video editors
• Use Asana to track project progress and ensure deadlines are met
• Organize digital content assets, transcripts, and marketing materials

Marketing & Creative Support

• Help create digital content for marketing campaigns, events, and other initiatives
• Draft marketing materials such as presentations, social media captions, and promotional content
• Assist with capturing photo and video content at client events and marketing events
• Research trends in digital marketing, video content, and social media best practices

AI & Content Tools

• Utilize AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms to assist with research, ideation, and content development
• Use AI-powered tools like Opus Clips to support video content creation
• Explore ways to leverage AI tools to improve marketing workflows and content production

Qualifications

Required

• Strong interest in digital marketing and content creation
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
• Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment

Preferred

• Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects)
• Familiarity with video editing or video production workflows
• Experience with social media marketing and content creation
• Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms
• Experience with Salesforce and/or Account Engagement (Pardot)
• Experience using project management tools such as Asana
• Interest or exposure to the financial services industry
