Role Description

This is a contract, on-site role for a Social Media Manager based in St. Albert, AB. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for planning and executing engaging social media strategies, managing all social media channels to optimize presence, creating and scheduling content, and monitoring performance metrics. The role involves collaborating with clients and internal teams to align campaigns with brand goals, as well as staying updated on social media trends and best practices to continuously improve strategies.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
• Strong skills in developing Content Strategy and Writing for diverse platforms
• Excellent Communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and clients
• Knowledge of key social media platforms and emerging trends in digital marketing
• Familiarity with analytics tools to track and evaluate social media performance
• Strong organizational and project management abilities
• Experience within the digital marketing industry is an asset
• Proficiency in graphic design and content creation tools is a plus
• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline is preferred
