Overview of Responsibilities

As an E-Commerce Order Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a key role in the following:

• Efficiently utilizing the Instacart Shopper App to shop for and fulfill customer online orders.
• Providing outstanding customer service by ensuring product quality and freshness, including suggesting suitable substitutes for out-of-stock items.
• Communicating effectively about any necessary order modifications.
• Processing transactions using the in-store POS system.
• Serving as a brand ambassador by addressing questions related to order delivery, the Instacart platform, and service benefits.
• Supporting various store operations, such as stocking shelves, replenishing frozen food sections, and maintaining store cleanliness and presentation.

Qualifications

To excel as an E-Commerce Order Fulfillment Specialist at Sprouts, candidates should possess the following:

• Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Bring a friendly demeanor and a positive attitude, engaging effectively with customers.
• Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions while working well in a team environment.
• Be proficient in using front-end equipment such as cash registers, calculators, and scanners.
• Be capable of standing, walking, and bending throughout the workday.
• Have the physical ability to maneuver a utility cart weighing 20 lbs., applying force up to 35 lbs. for two hours within a distance of 20 feet.
• Walk up to 3 miles during an 8-hour shift.
• Be open to performing other related tasks as assigned.
