Position Overview
We are seeking a Head of E-Commerce to build, manage, and scale the full digital commerce ecosystem. This role will translate brand, product, and marketing strategy into a high-performing, revenue-driving system across owned and third-party channels.
The ideal candidate will partner closely with the Founder, CMO, and creative team to ensure every digital touchpoint — from first impression to checkout — is brand-aligned and conversion-optimized.
Key Responsibilities
Core E-Commerce
- Lead website strategy and provide feedback on current build
- Optimize product pages, landing pages, and conversion funnels
- Build pre-sale, waitlist, and launch flows
- Improve UX/UI and overall site experience
- Execute A/B testing and ongoing performance optimization
- Implement abandoned cart and conversion recovery strategies
Multi-Channel Commerce
- Own TikTok Shop strategy and execution
- Develop and manage Amazon storefront and marketplace strategy
- Expand into additional third-party retail channels
- Manage channel-specific merchandising and positioning
- Oversee pricing and promotional strategy across platforms
Channel Management & Growth
- Own end-to-end performance across all commerce channels
- Coordinate inventory across platforms
- Optimize performance per channel
- Identify new revenue opportunities and growth channels
Lifecycle & Retention
- Partner with marketing on email and SMS integration
- Optimize customer journey from acquisition to retention
- Implement bundling, upsells, and subscription opportunities
Analytics & Performance
- Drive conversion rate optimization (CRO)
- Analyze AOV, LTV, CAC and performance metrics
- Build weekly and monthly reporting dashboards
- Make data-driven decisions to scale revenue
Qualifications
- 4–8+ years of e-commerce or digital commerce experience
- Strong Shopify (or equivalent platform) experience
- Experience launching and scaling DTC brands
- Proven success managing multi-channel commerce ecosystems
- Experience with TikTok Shop, Amazon, and third-party platforms
- Strong understanding of conversion optimization and digital merchandising
- Data-driven with strong analytical capabilities
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to balance brand integrity with aggressive growth goals
Preferred Experience
- Beauty, wellness, or luxury brand experience
- Subscription models, bundles, or retention-based commerce
- Educational or science-forward product positioning
- Experience scaling brands from launch through growth stage
