About the position
The Social and Digital Marketing Coordinator at Colorado State University (CSU) is responsible for enhancing the CSU Alumni Association's brand through the creation and implementation of digital content across various platforms, including social media, web, and email. This role requires a strong writer and digital storyteller who can engage diverse alumni audiences and produce content under tight deadlines. The coordinator will manage social media accounts, develop email marketing strategies, and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on community engagement and inclusivity.
Responsibilities
- Lead in the creation and distribution of visual media assets for social media.

- Manage the daily operations of the Alumni Association's social media platforms.

- Drive creative content development and identify growth opportunities for social media engagement.

- Provide social media coverage at events, including nights and weekends.

- Craft effective email content to foster connections with alumni.

- Collaborate with other CSU communicators on university-wide initiatives.

- Manage a $5,000 annual social media budget and ensure compliance with financial policies.

- Monitor and respond to social media interactions to maintain the brand's image.

- Use data and analytics to inform content and strategy decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university by employment start date.

- Experience in social media management, marketing, communications, or a related field.

- Excellent written communication skills.

- Ability to engage and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

- Valid driver's license or access to a licensed driver.
