About Us
Anthony’s Espresso Equipment is one of Canada’s leading espresso machine and specialty coffee retailers, serving both home consumers and commercial clients for over 25 years. We operate retail locations, a growing Shopify Plus ecommerce business, and a full service department.
We are looking for a hands-on part-time marketing specialist who understands ecommerce execution, not just theory. This role is ideal for someone experienced with Shopify Plus, digital marketing execution, graphic design, and print production.
This is a doer role, not just strategy — someone who can both plan and execute.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Marketing Specialist to support our ecommerce growth through Shopify management, digital marketing execution, graphic design, and marketing coordination.
You will work directly with ownership and help execute marketing initiatives across ecommerce, retail, and B2B channels.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a growing family business environment where their work has direct impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesShopify & Ecommerce Marketing
- Manage and update Shopify Plus website content
- Create and optimize product pages (SEO structure, content, images)
- Assist with promotions and campaign setup
- Manage collections, landing pages, and merchandising
- Optimize conversion elements (banners, trust badges, messaging)
- Coordinate with external marketing agencies when needed
Digital Marketing Execution
- Assist with email and SMS campaigns (Attentive, Klaviyo, or similar)
- Help execute Google Ads and SEO initiatives
- Manage marketing calendars and promotions
- Support content creation initiatives
- Assist with social media posting and coordination (secondary focus)
Graphic Design & Content Creation
- Design website banners and promotional graphics
- Create marketing materials for ecommerce and retail
- Design print materials:
- Flyers
- In-store signage
- Product sheets
- Packaging inserts
- Prepare files for print production
Marketing Operations Support
- Assist with campaign execution
- Help maintain brand consistency
- Support product launches
- Assist with competitor research
- Support marketing reporting when required
Required Skills & ExperienceMust Have
- Shopify experience (Plus experience preferred)
- Graphic design experience (Canva, Adobe, or similar)
- Understanding of ecommerce marketing fundamentals
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and execution-focused
- Strong written English
Strong Assets
- Shopify Plus experience
- Ecommerce SEO knowledge
- Google Ads familiarity
- Email marketing platforms (Attentive, Klaviyo, Mailchimp)
- Print production knowledge
- Coffee or specialty retail interest
