Job Description for Equipment Technician

In-House Equipment Maintenance and Repair

1)

Fixing and refurbishing Expander equipment, as needed.

2)

Ensuring all Expanders are fully refurbished according to a parts and maintenance checklist.

3)

Assisting in the purchase and inventory maintenance of Expander components/spare parts and tools.

4)

Identifying recurring issues and recommending improvements.

5)

Assisting, as needed, on repairs of TPL production equipment, including the TPL production line and Expanders used for ExpandOS production testing.

On-Site Customer Equipment Installation, Maintenance and Repair:

1)

Traveling to customer, prospective customer, and distributor sites to:

a.

Install Expanders and other TPL equipment at customer and distributor sites.

b.

Walk through the safe and effective use of the equipment.

c.

Perform routine maintenance, repairs and emergency service to ensure equipment reliability.

d.

Troubleshoot technical issues.

e.

Technical Training

i.

Assisting in creating, documenting and maintaining training tools (manuals, videos, etc.) for the training of TPL technicians and customer technicians on the maintenance and troubleshooting of Expander equipment.

ii.

Providing in-person and remote training of TPL technicians and customer technicians on the maintenance and troubleshooting of Expander equipment.

Adhering to TPL policies and safety procedures at all times.

Maintaining a valid driver's license (and be willing to travel as needed).

8)

Working to meet on-time delivery.

9)

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date service records and documentation
