Key Account Manager- Ecommerce

The Role
As Key Account Manager (reporting to the Country Manager/Senior Director, Zinus Canada), you will be the primary contact for Amazon account, owning the sales, promotional, and marketing strategies across your accounts. Your role is both strategic and hands-on: you will drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and unlock opportunities for expansion in one of the most competitive retail categories.
What You’ll Do
- Build strong partnerships with buyers and category/marketing teams—becoming their preferred partner.
- Own annual sales targets for each account, negotiating terms and conditions.
- Develop and implement account-level growth strategies to expand Zinus market share.
- Optimize promotions in collaboration with Marketing, Finance, and Operations, ensuring ROI and brand alignment.
- Monitor sales, inventory, and forecasts weekly to manage stock levels, reduce out-of-stocks, and avoid overstocking.
Performance & Insights
- Analyze account performance, identifying growth opportunities and risks.
- Manage customer P&L to measure the impact of initiatives and proposals.
- Review sell-in and sell-out data, turning insights into actionable plans.
- Monitor online assortment, pricing, and competitor activity to keep Zinus competitive and compliant.
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
- Partner with internal and global teams to ensure accounts are optimized.
- Provide weekly reporting and projections to leadership.
- Mentor and train new team members when needed.
- Support special projects such as product sample delivery or showroom set-up.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, or other major omnichannel/eCommerce accounts
. 1P vendor experience would be a big plus!
- Strong negotiation skills and proven experience with P&L management
.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce and omnichannel retail models
.
- Skilled in building proposals and presenting to senior decision-makers.
- Knowledge of direct import and domestic channel operations
.
- Analytical strength:
Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required;
Power BI a plus.
- Familiarity with supply/demand planning.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
- Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- A proactive, positive “can-do” mindset with openness to feedback and growth.
- Future opportunities in Sales Director or Operational Leadership roles.
