The Role

As Key Account Manager (reporting to the Country Manager/Senior Director, Zinus Canada), you will be the primary contact for Amazon account, owning the sales, promotional, and marketing strategies across your accounts. Your role is both strategic and hands-on: you will drive sales growth, build strong customer relationships, and unlock opportunities for expansion in one of the most competitive retail categories.

What You’ll Do

  • Build strong partnerships with buyers and category/marketing teams—becoming their preferred partner.
  • Own annual sales targets for each account, negotiating terms and conditions.
  • Develop and implement account-level growth strategies to expand Zinus market share.
  • Optimize promotions in collaboration with Marketing, Finance, and Operations, ensuring ROI and brand alignment.
  • Monitor sales, inventory, and forecasts weekly to manage stock levels, reduce out-of-stocks, and avoid overstocking.

Performance & Insights

  • Analyze account performance, identifying growth opportunities and risks.
  • Manage customer P&L to measure the impact of initiatives and proposals.
  • Review sell-in and sell-out data, turning insights into actionable plans.
  • Monitor online assortment, pricing, and competitor activity to keep Zinus competitive and compliant.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Partner with internal and global teams to ensure accounts are optimized.
  • Provide weekly reporting and projections to leadership.
  • Mentor and train new team members when needed.
  • Support special projects such as product sample delivery or showroom set-up.

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, or other major omnichannel/eCommerce accounts

. 1P vendor experience would be a big plus!

  • Strong negotiation skills and proven experience with P&L management

  • Deep understanding of eCommerce and omnichannel retail models

.

  • Skilled in building proposals and presenting to senior decision-makers.
  • Knowledge of direct import and domestic channel operations

.

  • Analytical strength:

Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) required;

Power BI a plus.

  • Familiarity with supply/demand planning.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Bachelor’s degree in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • A proactive, positive “can-do” mindset with openness to feedback and growth.
  • Future opportunities in Sales Director or Operational Leadership roles.
