In this role, you will delve into vast datasets, utilizing advanced statistical techniques and data visualization tools to uncover patterns and trends. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills, proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python/R, Tableau/Power BI), and a keen understanding of marketing principles. This remote role demands excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with geographically dispersed teams.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze marketing campaign data across various channels (digital, social media, email, traditional) to measure effectiveness and ROI. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key marketing metrics and KPIs. Perform customer segmentation and analysis to understand consumer behavior and preferences. Conduct A/B testing and other experimental designs to optimize campaign performance. Identify trends and insights in marketing data to inform strategic decision-making. Collaborate with marketing teams to define data requirements and reporting needs. Clean, transform, and prepare data for analysis using SQL, Python, or R. Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through presentations and written reports. Stay current with marketing analytics best practices and emerging technologies. Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from various departments. Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analyses and reports. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing analytics or a similar data analysis role. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Experience with statistical programming languages such as Python or R is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing channels. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote setting. Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems is a plus.
