Our client is looking for a strategic and data-driven E-commerce Marketing Manager to lead their online sales and marketing initiatives from Durham, North Carolina, US . This fully remote position is ideal for a creative thinker who excels at driving online traffic, optimizing conversion rates, and enhancing the overall customer journey. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive digital marketing strategies across various platforms to achieve ambitious sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement data-informed e-commerce marketing strategies to drive sales growth and customer acquisition. Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other relevant channels. Oversee the creation and execution of engaging content for social media platforms, email marketing campaigns, and the company blog. Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and conversion rate optimization (CRO). Collaborate with the web development team to ensure seamless user experience and optimize the online store's functionality and performance. Manage the e-commerce product catalog, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and imagery. Stay abreast of the latest e-commerce trends, digital marketing techniques, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge. Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads, promote products, and drive repeat purchases. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights and recommendations to senior management. Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring a strong return on investment (ROI). Explore and implement new marketing channels and technologies to expand reach and engagement. Foster a strong brand presence and voice across all digital touchpoints.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. 5+ years of proven experience in e-commerce marketing, with a strong track record of success in driving online sales. In-depth knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing. Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. Experience in managing marketing budgets and optimizing ad spend. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote setting. Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization techniques. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to our client's success.
