We’re looking for a Campaign Planning Specialist in Media Sales to support our sales team during a 12‑month maternity leave coverage. This role focuses on helping sales representatives plan digital advertising campaigns across Trooh’s campus network.
You will support RFP responses, build proposals, and recommend the right mix of campuses and inventory based on client objectives, budgets, and capacity.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with sales, thinking through campaign plans, and using data to guide planning decisions while ensuring recommendations align with Trooh’s inventory and client requirements.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Partner with sales representatives to plan and structure digital advertising campaigns aligned to client goals and budgets.
- Support RFP responses and proposal development, including media plans and inventory recommendations.
- Translate client objectives into a clear brand-aligned campaign proposal using Trooh’s campus network and planning data.
- Recommend the best‑fit campuses and inventory mix by analyzing campus data, impressions, audience insights, and proximity‑based targeting needs.
- Assist with client communication as necessary.
- Provide backup assistance to the Revenue Operations team to optimize digital advertising campaigns.
- Participate in special projects, assignments, and administrative duties as needed.
What you offer
- Post-secondary education preferably related to business administration or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in digital media planning, digital advertising, or a pre‑sales/sales support role (advertising agency, media owner, or related environment)
- Experience supporting sales teams through campaign planning, proposal/RFP development, and translating client marketing objectives into structured campaign plans and inventory recommendations.
- Familiarity with digital media planning concepts such as impressions, reach, frequency, and audience segmentation, with comfort using Excel (including working with large datasets, pivot tables, and complex formulas), planning systems, or internal dashboards to support decisions
- Experience working within a media CRM or planning platform; familiarity with Broadsign, Perion, and audience platforms is an asset
- Interest in or ability to learn the U.S. college and university landscape and campus‑based media environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple requests in a deadline‑driven environment
- Collaborative and service‑oriented approach with a willingness to partner closely with sales and internal teams
