Chief Operating Officer Ecommerce

We're hiring a Chief Operating Officer to be the operational backbone of STXND as we scale from a fast-growing DTC brand into a category-defining company.

This is not a role for someone who wants to optimize what already exists. We're building something — and we need a COO who can build with us. You'll sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, turning vision into systems, chaos into clarity, and growth into something sustainable.

You'll work directly alongside the founder to run the business day-to-day, own the financial engine, and make sure every function of the company is moving in the same direction at the right speed.

In this role, you will

Own the Operational Infrastructure

• Design and implement the systems, processes, and frameworks that allow STXND to scale without breaking
• Identify operational bottlenecks before they become problems and build solutions that last
• Create accountability structures across the team and ensure every function is executing with clarity and purpose

Lead Financial Planning and Performance

• Own the P&L — understand it deeply, report on it clearly, and use it to drive smarter decisions
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets that keep the business growing profitably
• Partner with the founder on scenario planning, margin analysis, and capital allocation

Drive Cross-Functional Execution

• Align marketing, product, operations, and creative around shared goals and timelines
• Own the company's operational calendar — launches, campaigns, hiring milestones — and make sure nothing falls through the cracks
• Translate high-level strategy into quarterly priorities and weekly execution

Build and Scale the Team

• Partner on hiring decisions, organizational design, and team structure as we grow
• Create onboarding and performance frameworks that help people ramp fast and operate at a high level
• Foster the culture and operating rhythm that lets a lean, fast-moving team punch above its weight

Measure What Matters

• Build the reporting infrastructure to track KPIs across every part of the business
• Surface insights that drive better decisions — from CAC and LTV to inventory turns and contribution margin
• Create a culture of data-informed execution without letting data replace judgment

We're looking for someone who

• Has 5+ years of operating experience, with at least 2 in a senior role at a DTC, e-commerce, or consumer brand
• Has real fluency in financial modeling, P&L ownership, and business forecasting
• Has scaled a brand through a high-growth phase and knows what breaks when you grow too fast
• Understands the full DTC ecosystem — supply chain, paid acquisition, retention, unit economics
• Is as comfortable in a spreadsheet as they are in a strategy session
• Can make fast decisions with incomplete information and own the outcome either way
• Communicates with clarity, operates with integrity, and leads by example

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Business Planning and strategic decision-making
• Expertise in Operations Management to streamline and enhance organizational processes
• Proven Analytical Skills to assess data and make well-informed decisions
• Knowledge of Finance and Budgeting to manage and allocate resources effectively
• Exceptional leadership abilities and experience in managing diverse teams
• Understanding of e-commerce industry trends and challenges
• (bonus) Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field; MBA is a plus
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
