Responsibilities
The Vice President will serve as a business process analyst within the Business Transformation team. The Vice President will be responsible for executing projects, initiatives and work streams designed to enhance investment lifecycle workflows across Investment Operations, Trading, Compliance, Technology, and Data functions. The role will focus on identifying continuous improvement opportunities across the investment lifecycle, developing and optimizing technology-enabled processes, and driving change management initiatives related to Order Management Systems (OMS) and adjacent investment operations platforms. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance operating efficiency, strengthen controls, and mitigate operational risk across investment activities.
Key responsibilities include
Investment Lifecycle & Investment Operations Focus
- Partner with Investment Operations, Trading, Compliance, and Technology teams to analyze and optimize end-to-end investment lifecycle processes, including private deal workflow, trade capture, order management, allocations, confirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and lifecycle event processing
- Serve as a subject matter liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams for initiatives impacting Order Management Systems (OMS), private deal workflow, and related downstream systems.
- Support system implementations, enhancements, integrations, or migrations related to OMS and other investment operations technologies
- Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and data integrity risks within workflows and implement scalable solutions
Process Documentation & Design
- Lead business process design efforts, including mapping, analyzing, and optimizing workflows across Operations, Technology, and Data teams.
- Document policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, and desktop procedures to ensure clarity, consistency, and scalability.
- Partner with business stakeholders to design and implement new processes, ensuring proper documentation, training, and transition to BAU.
Business Analysis Skills
- Elicit, analyze, and document business process requirements using interviews, workshops, and data analysis.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders across business, technology, and operations.
- Support change management and adoption efforts, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Project Management
- Manage projects end-to-end, including scoping, planning, resourcing, budgeting, execution, and delivery of initiatives.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk/issue logs, and stakeholder reporting, including executive-level updates.
Change Management
- Lead organizational change efforts to support adoption of new processes, systems, and tools.
- Develop training materials, communications, and transition plans to prepare stakeholders for change.
- Monitor adoption and effectiveness, providing feedback loops and continuous support for impacted teams.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience within asset management, alternative investments, with direct exposure to Investment Operations and the Investment Lifecycle business domain
- Strong domain knowledge of front-to-back investment processes across alternative asset classes (credit experience a plus), including trade lifecycle management, order management, allocations, settlements, reconciliations, and associated operational controls
- Strong working knowledge of Order Management Systems (OMS), including workflow design, configuration concepts, integrations, and control frameworks
- Strong track record in engaging and managing stakeholders across different seniorities and functions;
- Experience in identifying, analyzing and resolving operational challenges with an ability to think critically;
- Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, while independently driving projects to completion;
- Strong working knowledge of core Microsoft applications e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint; and
- Experience leveraging data & technology to drive process efficiencies and mitigate operational risk.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree relevant to position, a Master’s degree a plus
Base Salary Range
$165,000-$200,000
In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package and a flexible work arrangement. The base salary offered will be commensurate with experience and/or qualifications, industry knowledge and expertise, as well as prior training and education.
