E-Commerce Marketplace Specialist
Meridian FurnitureSchedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, on-site in Brooklyn, NY (reliable commute required).
Job Type: Full-time
About the Role
We are looking for an E-Commerce Data and Product Listing Specialist to work alongside our existing e-commerce team. This is a hands-on role where you will manage product data across multiple marketplace platforms, troubleshoot catalog and listing issues, and help maintain the accuracy and consistency that drives sales. If you are comfortable in spreadsheets, naturally detail-oriented, and want to be a part of the mechanics of large-scale e-commerce operations, this is a strong fit.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain product listings across Amazon, Wayfair, Walmart, and other retail partners - including titles, descriptions, images, specifications, and variation groupings, etc.
- Own data feed accuracy: monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve product data integrity issues across platforms. This includes investigating broken catalog structures, pricing discrepancies, and SKU mapping errors.
- Build and update product data in Excel and Google Sheets - including bulk uploads, attribute mapping, and feed formatting for each marketplace's specific requirements.
- Coordinate with marketplace reps and internal teams (operations, logistics, customer service) to resolve listing issues, chargebacks, and catalog disputes.
- Document processes, identify recurring data management gaps, and propose improvements to reduce manual effort and error rates.
- Support new product launches by preparing listing content and ensuring all marketplace requirements are met before go-live.
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of experience in data management, e-commerce operations, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (intermediate to advanced - pivot tables, calculation formulas, data cleanup formulas, etc).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - you catch inconsistencies others miss.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills. You will be on emails and calls with marketplace contacts and internal stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, small-team environment where priorities shift and ownership is expected.
Preferred
- Experience in the furniture, home furnishings, or home goods industry.
- Direct experience managing product listings on Amazon Vendor Central, Wayfair Partner Home, or Walmart Marketplace.
- Experience with Google Apps Script or light automation/scripting is a plus.
