Role Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Digital & AI Transformation Consultant to advise leading CPG clients on technology, data, and AI strategy. This role focuses on shaping end-to-end digital transformation roadmaps, including integration of acquired businesses, and guiding execution of critical initiatives across platforms, data architecture, and operating models.

You will work closely with senior client stakeholders to translate business priorities into scalable digital solutions, ensuring alignment across commercial, supply chain, and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define enterprise technology, data, and AI strategies aligned to business goals
• Shape and drive digital transformation roadmaps, including post-M&A integration of systems and data
• Advise on critical technology initiatives (e.g., CRM/Salesforce, data platforms, analytics, AI use cases)
• Design data and analytics architectures, including data governance and AI enablement
• Establish operating models (e.g., Agile pods, product-based delivery, global vs. local models)
• Lead client engagements, including problem structuring, stakeholder management, and delivery oversight
• Translate business needs into scalable digital solutions and roadmaps
• Provide industry best practices and benchmarks for CPG digital, data, and AI capabilities
• Support program execution, vendor selection, and implementation governance

Required Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in management consulting, digital transformation, or technology strategy
• Experience at MBB, Accenture, or equivalent consulting firms, or leading digital/IT initiatives within a CPG organization
• Strong experience in CPG industry, including sales, marketing, supply chain, or commercial operations
• Proven track record of delivering technology, data, or AI-driven transformations
• Familiarity with enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, ERP, data platforms, cloud architectures)
• Experience designing data architecture, analytics, and AI solutions
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery models and product/pod-based organizations
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior executives
• Ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and structure complex problems
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (MBA, MS) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with post-merger integration (PMI) in technology and data environments
• Exposure to AI/ML use cases in CPG (e.g., demand forecasting, marketing effectiveness, personalization)
• Knowledge of modern data stacks (cloud data platforms, data engineering, MLOps)
• Experience managing global, cross-functional teams
