We are seeking a dedicated E-Commerce Department Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our store's online shopping department. In this role, you will be instrumental in achieving sales objectives and managing a dynamic team. Responsibilities

  • Ensure our e-Commerce department consistently meets or exceeds customer expectations for a seamless shopping experience, wide product variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
  • Interview, select, and onboard top talent for the online shopping team.
  • Manage product flow and create effective schedules in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Develop team members to meet productivity standards and recognize their achievements through certification.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, along with adherence to food safety protocols and company standards.
  • Provide comprehensive training on the roles of order selector and customer attendant.
  • Lead initiatives for e-Commerce to drive planning, implementation, and execution.
  • Aim to achieve or surpass weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets, budget expectations, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction for repeat sales.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and respond strategically.
  • Ensure timely and effective fulfillment of orders, including appropriate substitutions as needed.
  • Implement best practices for managing out-of-stock products and streamlining order collection, product delivery, and checkout processes.
  • Promptly report inventory challenges and out-of-stock items to department leaders.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and devices used in the e-Commerce department.
  • Offer feedback to management, including the store team, district manager, and e-Commerce division on operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor budgetary expenses and ensure adherence.
  • Ensure all department equipment is subject to preventative maintenance.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate team members, conducting performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflict collaboratively.
  • Act with integrity and honesty concerning customer and business-related information.
  • Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

MINIMUM

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Demonstrable supervisory experience.
  • Experience in the hiring and selection process.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
  • Able to stoop, kneel, or crouch multiple times per hour.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Strong leadership capabilities.

DESIRED

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience and knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
