Role Overview

Kim Seybert is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic E-Commerce Merchandiser to join our team on site in our NYC office. This is a full time (40 hours per week) position with an immediate start.

The role is entry to intermediate level, ideal for someone eager to build and expand their career in e-commerce and the luxury home space. The E-Commerce Merchandiser will support the day-to-day operations of the website, from assortment buying to site merchandising and conversion optimization. Working closely with the Marketing & E-Commerce team, this role plays a critical part in driving sales performance by ensuring we have the right products in the right place, paired with a compelling online shopping experience.

An eye for luxury, strong analytical skills, and an understanding of the Kim Seybert brand and its affluent customer base are essential. The ideal candidate is both creative and extremely data-driven, eager to collaborate and contribute to the company’s digital growth.

Key Responsibilities Include, but are Not Limited To:

Planning & Forecasting

· Work closely with operations to develop and place seasonal buys based on historical data, trend analysis and customer insights.

· Ensure assortments align with customer demand, online behavior and sales targets

· Monitor sales, stock levels, sell-through and markdown performance

· Conduct in-season and post-season analysis and identify learnings for future planning

· Own reporting on product, category, and promotional performance to inform future buying and merchandising decisions

· Monitor inventory levels across digital platforms, ensuring accurate product availability and information

E-Commerce Merchandising

· Ensure all collections and product launches are executed accurately and on schedule

· Audit and maintain site merchandising to ensure a cohesive, elevated presentation across all pages and devices

· Drive a ‘mobile-first’ mindset, ensuring visual storytelling and digital shopping experience translates seamlessly to mobile

· Keep product pages current with the latest imagery, specs, and descriptions; conduct regular audits for accuracy

· Own product set up in system and ensure product data accuracy (descriptions, images, pricing, tags) and to help maximize conversion

· Create and update landing pages to support marketing campaigns and promotions

· Assist with reporting and analysis; communicate progress and key metrics during team meetings

· Support customer service via phone, email and live chat as needed

Qualifications

· Full-time, on-site position based in our New York office (Monday–Friday),

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, Retail, or a related field

· Prior experience in retail e-commerce and product merchandising

· Creative eye, strong sense of style, color and aesthetic with passion for home décor

· Proficiency with Shopify Plus and retailer-specific technologies preferred

· Experience with eCommerce analytics & attribution tools (Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, Triplewhale)

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Reporting and presentation skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

· Collaborative mindset with experience contributing to cross-functional projects

· Familiarity with Canva for editing a plus

Compensation

The expected starting pay range for this position is $50,000–$70,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Compensation may also include additional components such as benefits and paid time off.
