Overview

We are seeking an experienced Email Marketing Developer to support the execution and optimization of email campaigns within a Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment. This role sits within a collaborative MarTech team and focuses on building, deploying, and enhancing customer communications through scalable and efficient email solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, build, and deploy email campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Support campaign setup, scheduling, QA/testing, and deployment activities
• Create and maintain reusable email templates and dynamic content modules
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate campaign requirements
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to email marketing best practices
• Troubleshoot rendering issues across multiple email clients
• Contribute to automation and process improvements within campaign workflows
• Conduct A/B testing to improve engagement metrics (open/click-through rates)
• Maintain documentation and support organization of the marketing technology ecosystem
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging tools within email marketing

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, CloudPages)
• Proficiency with AMPscript and SQL
• Solid understanding of email marketing best practices and compliance (CASL)
• Experience troubleshooting email rendering across platforms
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Nice-to-Have

• Experience building HTML email templates from scratch
• Exposure to Marketing Cloud Connect or Distributed Marketing
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud or Financial Services Cloud
• Knowledge of Server-Side JavaScript and APIs
• Familiarity with GitHub or version control practices
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification
