Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Content Writer with strong SEO knowledge to join our team in the Lower Mainland, Canada . The ideal candidate will create high-quality, SEO-optimized content that helps improve search rankings and drives organic traffic. The candidate should understand how search engines crawl, index, and rank content , and should be able to work closely with the SEO and marketing teams to improve website performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Write SEO-optimized blogs, website content, landing pages, and marketing content
• Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
• Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headings, internal linking)
• Optimize content according to search intent and SEO guidelines
• Update and improve existing website content for better rankings
• Work with the SEO and marketing teams on content strategy
• Maintain consistent brand tone and messaging

Required Skills

• Excellent English writing and editing skills
• Strong knowledge of SEO content writing
• Understanding of technical SEO basics
• Ability to research and write technical or industry-related content

Technical SEO Knowledge Required

Candidates should understand

• Website crawling and indexing
• XML Sitemap and robots.txt
• Canonical tags
• Core Web Vitals
• URL structure and internal linking
• Search intent optimization

Experience with tools such as

• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics
• Ahrefs
• SEMrush

Experience

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in SEO content writing
• Experience working with SEO or digital marketing teams
• Preferred: Experience writing technical or B2B content
