Marketing & Media Assistant
Dawn - Job SearchOur client is seeking a Marketing & Media Assistant to join the team to support an exciting new product launch. This hybrid role encompasses marketing coordination, content creation, social media management, event planning, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Assist in filming, editing, and producing marketing and social media materials.
- Design & Visuals: Develop digital and print materials, including flyers, brochures, and event branding.
- Social Media Engagement & Management: Create, schedule, and post content across social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube etc.).
- Respond to comments and messages to foster audience engagement.
- Monitor analytics and performance metrics to optimize campaigns.
- Research trends and recommend content strategies to increase reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to align social media with marketing campaigns.
- Marketing Coordination: Collaborate with external marketing partners, track project timelines, and support campaign execution.
- Event Planning & Support: Contribute to the organization, promotion, and execution of virtual and in-person launch events.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist with day-to-day operations, scheduling, and documentation.
- Website & Blog Support: Assist with website updates, landing pages, and content uploads; conduct research and write blog posts aligned with the client’s brand voice, SEO strategy, and audience interests. Draft or support blog posts and content articles aligned with marketing campaigns.
- Traditional Media & Print Marketing: Support development and distribution of print and traditional marketing materials.
- Assist with press releases or local media outreach as needed.
- On-Camera & Hosting (Optional): Comfortability participating in webinars, podcasts, or video content is preferred but not required.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Organized, proactive, and adaptable in administrative support.
- Proficient in design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and social media platforms.
- Comfortable stepping on camera if open to it, though this is not a requirement.
- Candidates from any educational or professional background are encouraged to apply; transferable skills, attitude, and cultural fit are highly valued.
- Interest or experience in graphic design and media production preferred.
- On-Camera & Hosting (Optional): Participate in webinars, podcasts, or video content if comfortable.
