The Role

The Director of Partnerships & B2B will own the strategy, development, and execution of Cymax Group’s strategic partnerships and B2B business. This role sits at the intersection of revenue growth, strategic alliances, and operational execution—responsible for identifying high-impact partners, launching scalable B2B programs, and turning relationships into measurable commercial outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can think long-term, negotiate complex deals, and work cross-functionally to bring partnerships to life.

What You’ll Do

Partnership Strategy & Development

  • Define and execute Cymax Group’s partnerships strategy aligned with company growth goals
  • Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic partnerships (retailers,marketplacesand enterprise clients)
  • Lead end-to-end partnership lifecycle: sourcing, pitching, negotiation, contracting, launch, and optimization
  • Build executive-level relationships with partners and act as a senior external representative for Cymax Group

B2B Growth & Revenue

  • Own and grow Cymax Group’s B2B channel, including enterprise, wholesale, and strategic accounts
  • Develop scalable B2B offerings, pricing structures, and go-to-market strategies
  • Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, account expansion, and long-term contracts
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Operations, and Analytics teams to deliver strong B2B customer outcomes

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Work closely with Finance, Product, Operations, and Marketing to ensure partnerships are commercially sound and operationally viable
  • Translate partner needs into internal requirements and influence roadmap prioritization
  • Establish KPIs and reporting to track partnership performance, ROI, and revenue impact

Team & Process Building

  • Build and mentor a high-performing partnerships/B2B team as the function scales
  • Create repeatable processes, playbooks, and frameworks for partnerships and B2B execution

What You Bring

  • 5–8+years of experience in partnerships, B2B, business development, or commercial leadership
  • Proventrack recordof closing and scaling strategic partnerships that drive revenue
  • Strong B2B experience, ideally in e-commerce, marketplaces, retail,logistics, or SaaS
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to evaluate performance and make strategic trade-offs
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels
  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-moving, growth-oriented environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience in furniture, home goods, or large-scale retail ecosystems
  • Familiarity with marketplace models and omnichannel commerce
  • Prior people-management experience

Compensation & Benefits

We are committed to transparency in our hiring process. The expected salary range for this role is between $120,000 and $140,000, depending on various factors including experience, skills, training and certifications, market demands, and organizational needs. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location.
