ConfidentialAbout the Role
We’re seeking a data-driven SEO professional who thrives at the intersection of organic growth, technical performance, and content execution. This role combines SEO strategy, reporting/analytics, and hands-on site optimization to drive measurable increases in qualified leads for a personal injury law firm. You’ll own end-to-end SEO performance while coordinating internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure consistent, high-quality execution.
What You’ll Do

- Own and execute SEO strategy across technical SEO, on-page SEO, content, internal linking, and local SEO
- Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using SEMrush (and/or Ahrefs) to build prioritized roadmaps
- Optimize page templates and key practice-area/location pages for rankings and conversions
- Partner with content writers (and write directly when needed) to create/refresh high-performing SEO content
- Monitor and improve performance for Core Web Vitals, crawl/indexation, site structure, and internal linking
- Support local SEO efforts (location pages, citations, review strategy coordination, map presence)
Reporting, Analytics & CRM Alignment
- Build recurring SEO reporting (weekly/monthly) covering rankings, traffic, visibility, conversions, and lead quality
- Track organic lead flow and attribution through Salesforce reporting and dashboards (or coordinate CRM reporting)
- Collaborate on measurement setup: GA4, Google Search Console, Tag Manager, call tracking, form tracking
- Translate data into clear insights and next-step recommendations for stakeholders
Website Management & Vendor Oversight
- Manage WordPress updates and SEO implementations (or coordinate dev resources)
- Create and maintain technical SEO tickets, QA implementations, and validate releases
- Manage and monitor third parties/contractors (SEO agencies, writers, developers, link outreach, etc.)
- Ensure vendor deliverables match strategy, timelines, and quality standards
What We’re Looking For Skills
- 3–5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with measurable results (traffic growth + lead generation)
- Experience working with law firms (strong preference for personal injury) and understanding of legal marketing constraints and competitive SERPs
- Strong working knowledge of SEMrush (site audits, keyword research, competitor analysis, rank tracking)
- Strong writing and editing ability for SEO (briefs, outlines, page copy, metadata, content refreshes)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently execute an SEO roadmap
Technical Skills & Proficiencies
- WordPress (page publishing, templates, plugins, basic HTML/CSS familiarity)
- Technical SEO fundamentals: crawlability, indexing, redirects, canonicals, structured data, sitemaps, robots.txt
- Analytics & tools: Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio (or similar reporting tools)
- Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and performance diagnostics (e.g., PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse)
Nice-to-Have
- Experience coordinating developers or working in an agile ticketing workflow (Jira/Asana/Trello)
- Local SEO experience at scale (multiple locations/markets)
- Familiarity with link acquisition strategies and digital PR (white-hat)
- Basic SQL or advanced Excel for deeper reporting and trend analysis
- Experience with schema implementation and QA
What Makes You Stand Out
- You can run technical SEO audits, prioritize fixes, and communicate clearly with developers
- You create content that ranks and converts, especially in competitive personal injury markets
- You’re confident in reporting outcomes and tying SEO work to qualified leads (not vanity metrics)
