About The Position
Clinical Architecture is seeking a Web Developer and SEO Specialist to join our Marketing department to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of our web properties in the Indianapolis, IN area. This role combines hands‑on web development with search engine optimization (SEO) expertise to ensure our websites perform well, support marketing initiatives, and remain highly discoverable in search engines and AI‑driven search platforms.
The Web Developer and SEO Specialist will manage Clinical Architecture’s brand website and a custom client‑facing website, ensuring each remains secure, functional, and optimized for performance and visibility. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly in code to build and enhance functionality beyond standard Word Press themes and plugins, while supporting marketing campaigns, landing pages, and performance tracking within Hub Spot.
- This role will report to our VP, Marketing.
- This role is required to be on site at our Carmel, IN Headquarters. Clinical Architecture offers ample flexibility to accommodate a healthy work‑life balance.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Clinical Architecture’s brand website and client‑facing website.
- Manage and customize Word Press environments, including themes, plugins, and updates.
- Build and maintain web functionality using HTML, PHP, JSON, and related technologies.
- Deploy and maintain schema markup and structured data to enhance search visibility.
- Develop and support backlink strategies to strengthen domain authority.
- Analyze and improve technical SEO performance, including indexing, crawlability, structured data implementation, and site performance metrics.
- Monitor website and SEO performance using analytics and search tools.
- Conduct keyword research and collaborate with marketing to optimize website content and landing pages.
- Design and implement effective web page layouts and responsive user experiences that support usability and engagement.
- Troubleshoot technical issues affecting website functionality, performance, or search rankings.
- Ensure websites meet standards for security, accessibility, and responsive design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, UI/UX, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in web development and website optimization.
- Familiarity with UX/UI best practices and responsive web design, preferred.
- Experience working with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Figma, preferred.
- Familiarity with Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and evolving search trends, preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of HTML, PHP, JSON, and Word Press.
- Experience implementing technical SEO strategies, including structured data and indexing management.
- Experience working directly in code to modify templates, functionality, and integrations beyond standard Word Press themes and plugins.
- Familiarity with schema markup and backlink development.
- Experience with SEO and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Familiarity with Hub Spot and marketing automation platforms used to manage digital campaigns and website integrations.
- Experience implementing effective page layouts and responsive web experiences.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
