eCommerce Fulfilment Lead

OVERVIEW

Ark Swimwear is a premium Australian eCommerce brand launching a small US fulfilment site in Dallas. This is a hands-on lead role focused on accuracy, presentation, and high-stakes returns quality control.

This role offers full-time hours during peak periods. Hours will reduce in off-peak periods based on order volume and workload.

Peak periods typically run from May to July, with a smaller peak in late November and December.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include

• Fast, accurate pick and pack through daily carrier cutoffs.
• Printing shipping labels and preparing parcels for carrier pickup.
• Processing returns end-to-end, including detailed inspection against hygiene and quality standards, and applying outcomes based on policy.
• Steaming approved items safely and consistently without damaging fabric.
• Receiving stock, putting inventory away, and replenishing shelves when shipments arrive.
• Building the weekly roster and coordinating coverage for peak days and receiving days.
• Restocking shelves, maintaining organised pick locations, and completing RFID stock work and stocktakes.
• Keeping packing stations and storage areas clean, orderly, and ready to work.
• Training and coaching team members on SOPs, quality checks, and packing presentation standards.
• Escalating issues early when something is unclear or blocking shipping.

SCHEDULE AND AVAILABILITY

This role includes the following expectations

• Business-day shipping, Monday to Friday, with possible Saturday work in the future.
• Typical hours in peak periods: 35 to 40 hours per week.
• Typical hours in off-peak periods: 20 to 30 hours per week.
• Paid onboarding and training.
• Ability to work longer days during peak periods and receiving days.
