This position resides with The Alberta New Home Warranty Program (ANHWP) and works alongside The New Home Warranty Insurance (Canada) Corporation (NHWICC) and the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta (PHBI) and Dweller Home Services.

Position Summary

The Digital Marketing Specialist leads the planning, execution, optimization, and measurement of all digital marketing initiatives across the organization. This role manages marketing automation, website performance, SEO/SEM, analytics, and campaign tracking to drive engagement, visibility, and lead generation. Working closely with the Content & Creative Specialist and Marketing Engagement Coordinator, the Digital Content Specialist ensures all digital touchpoints—email, social, web, and paid—are data-informed, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.

Work location

Calgary, Alberta

This position is required to be in office at least one day per week and must have the flexibility to occasionally work outside regular hours to support events or campaign launches.

Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist

Digital Strategy & Paid Advertising - enhancing the organization’s online presence and reach through targeted digital initiatives

Digital Campaigns & Marketing Automation - Oversee the planning, setup, optimization, and tracking of digital marketing campaigns across platforms

Website Management & SEO - Maintain the performance and integrity of company websites and portals.

Collaboration & Cross-Team Support - Work as a digital subject matter expert across the marketing functions

Analytics & Reporting - Provide actionable and timely insights through comprehensive reporting on digital performance.

Education

  • Degree or diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
  • Commitment to continuous professional development in digital marketing, analytics, and marketing technology

Experience

Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conversion metrics, and digital engagement measurement
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation, email campaigns, segmentation, and lead nurturing workflows
  • Experience with campaign tracking methodologies (UTMs, conversion tracking, analytics tools)
  • Working knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword optimization, and search visibility strategies
  • Experience supporting paid digital and social campaigns, including performance monitoring and optimization recommendations
  • Exceptional reporting and dashboard-building skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing technology platforms (Salesforce experience considered a strong asset)
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Understanding of website best practices, including user experience (UX), accessibility, performance, and quality assurance
  • Experience identifying digital optimization opportunities across email, web, paid, and social channels
  • The following are considered assets:

o Experience developing full-funnel digital marketing strategies

o Experience with heatmapping, A/B testing, or UX optimization tools

o Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
