Job Description

Lead enterprise marketing and analytics initiatives by delivering advanced data insights, owning the Marketing & Analytics Datamart (MAD), and driving modernization to cloud‑based platforms. This role blends hands‑on analytics leadership, data governance, and cross‑functional influence to enable high‑quality, compliant, and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced analytics efforts by integrating large, complex datasets and translating insights into actionable business recommendations.
  • Apply statistical and analytical techniques to identify trends, measure outcomes, and inform strategic decisions.
  • Present insights clearly to senior stakeholders to drive data‑informed action.
  • Serve as functional owner and subject matter expert for the Marketing & Analytics Datamart (MAD).
  • Govern platform enhancements, maintenance, data quality, and reliability standards.
  • Partner with Risk and Governance teams to ensure audit readiness and compliance with banking policies.
  • Lead migration of marketing analytics use cases from on‑prem environments to cloud platforms.
  • Promote cloud best practices, scalable patterns, and modern tooling.
  • Remove technical and process barriers and guide teams through migration efforts.
  • Collaborate extensively with business, analytics, and engineering partners to align data solutions to business needs.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships across a matrixed organization.
  • Support intake, prioritization, and sequencing of analytics enhancements and migration initiatives.
  • Advise on documentation, training, metadata, and onboarding best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Six to eight years of statistical and/or data analytics experience

Preferred Skills / Experience

  • Advanced experience with analytics and statistical tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, Excel).
  • Experience with relational and analytical databases and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks, Snowflake).
  • Strong background in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
  • Demonstrated leadership in data governance, quality, and risk management.
  • Experience supporting marketing analytics and financial services data.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
  • Experience operating in agile, highly matrixed environments.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
