Growth and Partnerships Lead

Day to day responsibilities

  • Proactively receive, qualify, and manage inbound leads to ensure alignment with company offerings
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to represent SimplyPHP, build relationships, and generate new leads
  • Conduct follow‑up outreach after trade shows, including semi‑cold calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn engagement
  • Re‑engage past clients and warm leads through targeted outreach and relationship‑building initiatives
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospects via email and phone/video calls
  • Build and nurture strong, long‑term relationships with current and potential clients
  • Keep the CRM up to date with accurate lead, prospect, and client information
  • Strategically set and track marketing and business development objectives
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to align growth efforts with company goals

Marketing & Demand Generation

  • Own and optimize digital marketing initiatives across paid platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant channels
  • Collaborate with creative and technical teams to develop ads and marketing assets aligned with the SimplyPHP brand
  • Plan and deliver end‑to‑end marketing campaigns, from ideation to execution and optimization
  • Execute SEO‑driven content and social marketing initiatives
  • Research industry trends and suggest data‑driven improvements to marketing strategy
  • Analyze performance metrics, prepare reports, and present insights to guide decision‑making

Our ideal candidate will have

  • 4+ years of experience in digital marketing, business development, or a hybrid growth role
  • Hands‑on experience with paid ad platforms (Google, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Very strong, fluent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable with outbound outreach, including semi‑cold calls and follow‑ups
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting data and campaign results
  • Excellent relationship‑building and customer service skills
  • Self‑motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Knowledge of the web development or technology services industry is an asset
  • Located and legally eligible to work in Canada
