Social Media and Marketing Strategist
Partners In ExcellenceThe Social Media and Marketing Strategist is responsible for creating and executing social media content strategies for Partners In Excellence. This position requires an individual with a passion for social media to interface across all areas/networks and who is up to date on most recent industry changes and trends. The Social Media and Marketing Strategist is a great communicator and writer who understands optimizing content for search, adding metadata and implementing best practice digital marketing strategies. This role will gather and leverage existing content, develop measurable dashboards and track results.
Essential Functions
- Plan, develops, monitors, posts to, and analyzes social media channels to build a community of followers and enhance interaction.
- Follow industry related news and generate ideas around trending topics.
- Create, edit and publish visually appealing and effective graphic design, photo and video content for web, social and email.
- Prepares and develops social media content to support and enhance the organization's brand and operations.
- Develop and maintain internal communications standards, processes and strategies.
- Track content performance analytics and adjust future production accordingly for optimal consumption effectiveness.
- Recommend and implement ideas, solutions and social strategies.
- Develops and implements the organization's social media strategy, including marketing plans that leverage social media outlets.
- Coordinates and implements marketing communications projects.
- Attend company meetings and trainings as required.
- Must meet the physical demands listed below
- Completes all other projects/duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- 3+ years in advertising, social media, and online marketing
- 1+ years of experience with Office 365
- Must possess a valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Digital Media or related field is a plus
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Writing, blogging and/or creative writing
- Meticulous attention to detail with outstanding proofreading and editing skills
- Aptitude to work professionally and effectively with all levels in the organization
- Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and flexible based on changing business and training environments
- Highly self-motivated and directed with a strong ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Experience working both independently and, in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
