Senior Manager- Digital Transformation & Mark
Nissin International Transport U.S.A., Inc.- *Position Description:**
The Senior Manager – Digital Transformation (DX) &Marketing leads the planning and execution of company-wide digital transformation initiatives to support operational excellence and business growth. This role is responsible for defining and executing DX strategies aligned with corporate objectives, identifying and implementing innovative technologies, and driving cross-functional projects that improve efficiency, enhance service delivery, and strengthen long-term competitiveness. The position partners closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and senior leadership to ensure successful adoption and sustained impact of transformation initiatives across the organization.
- *Key Responsibilities**
- *Digital Transformation Initiatives:**
- Develop and manage digital transformation (DX) roadmaps aligned with corporate strategy, budget priorities, and long-term business objectives.
- Lead feasibility studies, pilot initiatives, and vendor collaborations to integrate advanced technologies, robotics, and automation into company services, operational processes, and strategic initiatives.
- Drive improvements across internal processes, business models, and organizational capabilities by promoting technology adoption, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting workforce
- Research and develop operational strategies that improve cost efficiency, strengthen competitive positioning, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments and regions to prioritize initiatives, monitor progress, and provide updates on project performance, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Undertake additional projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
- *Market Research, Business Development & Marketing:**
- Conduct proactive market research and analyze emerging industry trends to identify new growth opportunities.
- Explore potential alliances and partnerships, develop performance metrics, and support business development initiatives.
- Lead the company’s marketing initiatives by selecting and managing third-party marketing agencies and developing marketing plans and strategies aligned with overall growth objectives and brand positioning.
- Collaborate closely with the sales department to support lead generation, client acquisition, and revenue growth, ensuring marketing and business development initiatives align with the company’s strategic priorities.
- *Qualifications:**
- Education: BA/BS undergraduate degree with a business-related field or supply chain management
- Minimum of 10-plus years of progressively responsible experience with business development and/or logistic operations in the transportation/logistics/supply chain management industry
- Familiarity and demonstrated expertise in business development strategies to achieve organization financial objectives, increase brand recognition, and expand market base
- Established industry network and presence to nurture business development relationships and opportunities
- Possess excellent, effective written and verbal communication skills in English and Japanese; multi-lingual skills helpful
- Must be detailed oriented and able to prioritize and/or organize multiple ongoing projects
- Must be able to multitask and work under stressful conditions to meet deadlines and achieve objectives
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google applications, SCM (Supply Chain Management) applications, CMS(Carrier Management Systems)
- Possess effective negotiation skills and demonstrate management supervisory skills to effectively lead and train others
