Senior Visual Analyst (Level 2) – TS/SCI w/ Poly

• *Location: Columbia, MD
• *Compensation Range: $126,000 – $146,000 (annualized USD)
• *Clearance Required:** Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph

Description

We are seeking a Senior Visual Analyst (Level 2) to support the Data Analytics Team by leading web design, development, and hosting efforts. In this role, you will provide expert-level graphics and visual solutions that support content generation and hosting initiatives across the organization.

You will serve as a primary point of contact for websites and graphic design, advising stakeholders on best practices and recommending effective implementation strategies. This role requires professional engagement with senior leadership and the ability to interpret complex requirements and translate them into impactful visual and web-based solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain interactive websites and visual assets

Gather complex requirements and stakeholder feedback to create effective visual solutions

Serve as a subject matter resource for HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and content management systems

Leverage AI and content generation tools to enhance workflows and efficiency

Mentor junior team members

Design, develop, configure, implement, deploy, and maintain website deployments

Implement JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS to support business processes and related data

Translate broad concepts into visually compelling graphics that clearly communicate key messages

Propose business solution strategies and design approaches based on stakeholder needs and technical feasibility

Skills Requirements

Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Adobe Illustrator

5+ years of experience designing and implementing web-based solutions using industry-standard platforms

5+ years of experience gathering customer requirements and leading technical discussions

Demonstrated experience in User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design

Strong understanding of web and content management architecture

Experience implementing web security best practices

Experience with web technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS

Nice to Haves

Experience with web hosting and monitoring solutions

Knowledge of serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda)

Familiarity with network profiling or device fingerprinting techniques

Experience with AI-generated content and agentic coding tools

Experience with Nginx, WordPress, or similar web hosting solutions

Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and Jira

Education & Experience Requirement

10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree

OR

5 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree

4 additional years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree

Compensation & Employment Policy

Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $126,000 – $146,000 (annualized USD).
