Date: 4 – 8 months co-op term (May 2026 – January 2027)
I. Scope and Summary of Primary Responsibilities
We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Co‑op Student to join our Digital team for the summer term. This role is ideal for a student interested in digital marketing, web content management, analytics, and accessibility. The successful candidate will gain hands‑on experience working across data reporting, website updates, landing page creation, and accessibility best practices—while collaborating with a supportive cross‑functional team
II. Essential Functions
The position entails, but is not limited to the following general responsibilities:
- Support campaign performance tracking by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing digital marketing data for weekly and monthly reports.
- Assist with building and updating web pages and campaign landing pages in the CMS, ensuring accurate formatting and mobile responsiveness.
- Publish and maintain web content, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines, SEO best practices, and content governance standards.
- Conduct accessibility reviews of digital content and landing pages, including alt text, headings, metadata, and WCAG‑aligned QA checks.
- Collaborate with the digital team to improve content workflows, maintain documentation, and ensure data integrity and accessibility across all web updates.
III. Qualifications
Knowledge and Skill Requirements
- Foundational understanding of digital marketing, web content, or SEO (through coursework or projects).
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) or ability to learn quickly.
- Awareness of web accessibility principles (e.g., WCAG) and interest in inclusive design.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in content and data.
- Basic analytical skills with the ability to support data tracking and reporting.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) or similar tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a team environment.
Experience and Education
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Web Development, or a related field.
