Performance Marketing Specialist
CAPITAL CENTER LLCAbout CapCenter
CapCenter is a fast-growing direct-to-consumer mortgage, realty, and insurance company headquartered in Richmond, VA. We’re transforming the home buying, selling, and financing experience by combining innovative technology with personalized service. We move fast, think analytically, and invest our marketing dollars with precision.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist who can use financial modeling and performance analytics to plan, buy, and optimize media across traditional and digital channels. We want a team member that is energized by data, excited about digital advertising, and eager to use AI tools to unlock better insights. This is an early-career role designed for someone who has built real skills through work experience, internships or side projects—and is ready to grow them into a full-time specialist.
You’ll manage and optimize paid media campaigns across digital platforms (Meta, Instagram, Reddit, Spotify, CTV/streaming, and more), coordinate traditional media channel execution (OOH, terrestrial radio, TV) and use tools like Claude and other AI platforms to sharpen our measurement, attribution, and reporting capabilities.
This is not a passive execution role. You will have real ownership of campaign performance, budget pacing, and analytical insights while partnering with technology, analytics and marketing operations to ensure accurate targeting
What You’ll Do
Media Execution & Optimization
- Plan, buy, manage, and optimize media across digital channels (paid social, CTV, streaming audio and display) along with traditional media (terrestrial radio, outdoor, television).
- Monitor campaign pacing, performance, and budgets making real-time adjustments to maximize results.
- Work with creative teams to align ad assets with platform best practices and campaign goals.
- Stay current on platform updates, new ad formats, and digital media trends.
Measurement, Attribution & AI-Powered Reporting
- Implement and manage tracking infrastructure: pixels, UTMs, conversion APIs, and event tags across all active channels.
- Build and maintain performance dashboards that surface key KPIs: CPL, CPA, ROAS, lead quality, and conversion velocity.
- Use AI tools (including Claude) to automate and enhance reporting workflows, attribution analysis, and channel performance summaries.
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights and present findings to marketing leadership.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and ensure reporting accuracy across platforms.
Media Planning & Financial Context
- Learn and apply financial concepts (payback period, NPV, conversion velocity) to connect media investment to downstream outcomes like loan closings and customer lifetime value.
- Support the development of media plans and budget allocations using performance data and attribution insights.
- Document test results, learnings, and platform experiments to build institutional knowledge.
Vendor & Partner Coordination
- Coordinate with media vendors and platform reps on campaign specs, creative deadlines, and performance reviews.
- Manage trafficking and QA to ensure flawless campaign execution across all channels.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- 0–5 years of experience, including strong, impactful internships or project-based work in digital marketing, paid media, or marketing analytics.
- Comfort working with data: you can pull a report, spot a trend, and communicate what it means.
- Genuine curiosity about AI tools and enthusiasm for using them to work smarter—not just faster.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially around budgets, deadlines, and tracking.
- Clear, confident communicator who can summarize complex data for non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Spotify Ad Studio, Reddit Ads, or streaming/CTV platforms.
- Familiarity with UTMs, pixel implementation, conversion APIs, or tag management (Google Tag Manager).
- Exposure to CRM platforms, especially HubSpot.
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics concepts: attribution models, funnel metrics, A/B testing.
- Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar) in a marketing or analytical context.
- Experience or interest in mortgage, real estate, insurance, or financial services a plus
