Role

The Digital Growth Strategist drives organic audience growth, engagement, website traffic, and member acquisition through social media, SEO, and other digital growth strategies. Working closely with internal teams, external agencies, and stakeholders, this role strengthens brand visibility and supports long-term organizational growth through data-driven marketing initiatives. The position analyzes performance, identifies growth opportunities, provides ROI-focused insights, develops key performance metrics, and delivers actionable reporting to guide digital investments and technology recommendations. The role also ensures compliance with privacy and information security requirements while partnering across the Marketing Department to achieve business objectives and support Rogue Credit Union's vision of having the most loyal members in the nation.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

35% Serves as Rogue Credit Union's internal SEO subject matter expert and owner of organic acquisition strategy. Develops and executes strategies to improve search visibility, organic traffic, keyword rankings, local search performance, and overall digital discoverability. Partners with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to identify opportunities that increase qualified traffic, member engagement, and business growth through organic channels.

25% Leads Rogue Credit Union's organic social media strategy and execution across all applicable social platforms. Develops channel-specific strategies, content calendars, audience growth initiatives, community engagement efforts, and performance optimization plans that support brand awareness, member engagement, and organizational objectives. Monitors platform performance and leverages data-driven insights to continuously improve content effectiveness and audience growth.

20% Develops reporting frameworks, dashboards, and performance insights that connect organic marketing activities to business outcomes. Analyzes website traffic, search performance, social media engagement, audience behavior, and conversion trends to identify opportunities that improve visibility, engagement, and acquisition performance. Provides data-driven recommendations and strategic insights that inform optimization priorities, investment decisions, and digital growth initiatives. Accesses and handles confidential member information and PII only as necessary for approved reporting, targeting, or analysis activities.

15% Develops and maintains organic growth roadmaps that align SEO, social media, audience growth, and acquisition priorities with organizational objectives. Collaborates cross-departmentally and with external agency partners to execute initiatives that support business goals. Provides strategic recommendations to leadership regarding growth opportunities, emerging digital trends, agency support, technology needs, and investment priorities. Maintains awareness of emerging digital marketing technologies, AI-enabled marketing tools, social platform innovations, SEO trends, and industry best practices that support the continued advancement of Rogue Credit Union's digital marketing capabilities.

5% Proactively performs other duties as needed or assigned.

Knowledge & Skills

Experience

Three years to five years of similar or related experience managing organic social media, SEO, digital analytics, website performance, organic acquisition, or related digital marketing disciplines.

Education

(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Interpersonal Skills

Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Physical Requirements

Some adjusting or moving objects up to 30 pounds in all directions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers while using a computer. Communicating with others to exchange information. Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and make fine discriminations in sound. Close and continuous visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading.

Work Environment

Normal workday with occasional overtime. This job is a non-exempt position that requires flexibility in scheduling tasks and projects. The employee must independently monitor hours and judge the time needed to be spent on applicable duties. Employee must be capable of adjusting to unpredictable schedules proactively. As a direct representative of the Credit Union, the employee must conduct and present themselves courteously and professionally. Exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, i.e., robbery. Travel to Credit Union facilities/regions may be required. This position may require attendance at meetings and events in the evenings or on weekends.
