Marketing and Social Media Specialist
Corporate Traffic LogisticsThe Marketing and Social Media Specialist role is an entry-level position, reporting to the Director of Marketing. Corporate Traffic has several audiences including customers, prospects, carriers, and candidates. This role must be able to effectively appeal to each designated audience. In addition, this individual will be responsible for continually identifying and implementing best practices. Our ideal candidate is ready to roll up their sleeves, jump in with both feet, and make an immediate impact!

Social Media
Self-motivated, positive, outgoing, personable, and able to relate well with diverse populations and age groups; tactful, mature, and flexible.

Social Media
- Create campaigns, content calendar, manage posts (copy/image posts, reels, stories, etc.) and accounts across social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, X etc.
- Engage with social media audiences as well as our employee population to increase likes, follows, views, awareness, etc.
- Write captions and descriptions utilizing creative vocabulary/buzz words, SEO terms, and trending hashtags
- Create and edit video content
- Identify areas of opportunity to improve engagement and presence on social media platforms
- Stay updated of latest social media trends and best practices
- Utilize analytics to effectively evaluate success of social media campaigns
- Collaborate with other departments to stay aware of upcoming events or other important dates, for social media content planning
- Work with direct manager and agency to assist in facilitation of video and photoshoots as needed
- Generate engaging content consistent with brand and geared toward appropriate desired audience
- Content to include press releases, blogs and sales support materials
- Coordinate and execute various charity events, Town Halls, on-site and off-site employee events, sporting events with our University of North Florida partnership and career fairs.

- Must possess excellent communication skills, both orally and written
- Ability to collaborate with others and has a creative outlook and mindset
- Exceptional organizational & time-management skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to think on your feet with independent drive
- Excellent interpersonal skills to reply to inquiries on social media accounts as well as build relationships with coworkers to participate in content creation (video & photo)
- Possess exceptional independent problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and technical abilities
- Focuses on management team expectations and commits to continuous improvement
- Proven experience with business social media platforms
- Knowledge Adobe programs, Canva, and video editing software programs and social media management systems.
- Bachelor's Degree (majors preferred: communications, marketing, public relations) or 1-3 years’ experience in social media management and development
- This role is full-time in-office/on-site. Candidates must be able to meet this requirement to be considered.
