About the position

Georgia-Pacific is seeking qualified professionals to join our team as Manufacturing Transformation Leaders (MTL). In this pivotal role, you will provide transformation change leadership, mentoring, and coaching to drive sustainable results within our Consumer Products manufacturing operations. The MTL will leverage their leadership skills, manufacturing experience, and communication capabilities to develop and implement rapid transformational improvements for priority initiatives. These initiatives are designed to enhance a site's competitive position in terms of production efficiency, cost reduction, quality enhancement, risk mitigation, and overall organizational effectiveness. Success in this role will be measured by the effectiveness and efficiency of manufacturing sites in achieving transformation through prioritized initiatives, which will be assessed against established baselines and targets. As an MTL, you will need the ability and courage to coach and challenge various levels of leadership, from senior executives to front-line leaders, as well as shop floor operating and maintenance technicians. You will be expected to possess knowledge of new processes and technologies that can facilitate transformation while also being willing to break old paradigms when necessary. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively escalating and removing barriers that impede progress on initiatives, taking ownership of problem-solving as challenges arise. You will collaborate with stakeholders, including leadership, manufacturing facilities, engineering, quality, safety, human resources, third-party vendors, and other partners, to drive initiatives forward. This position operates within a manufacturing/industrial environment and will have high visibility with key site and corporate leadership, contributing to significant financial outcomes for the business.
