Job Title: E-commerce Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Executive to support the daily operation, performance, and growth of our online business.

The role will work closely with the E-commerce Manager and coordinate with developers, SEO, UI/UX, marketing, customer service, warehouse, logistics, and marketplace teams.

The ideal candidate should be organized, analytical, commercially aware, and comfortable managing multiple e-commerce tasks across websites, campaigns, products, orders, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Website & E-commerce Operations

  • Manage the daily operation of e-commerce websites.
  • Ensure products, prices, stock, collections, banners, promotions, and website content are accurate and up to date.
  • Upload and maintain:
  • Products
  • Product descriptions
  • Images
  • SKUs
  • Prices
  • Collections
  • Promotions
  • Review the website daily to identify and report:
  • Broken links
  • Missing images
  • Incorrect prices
  • Incorrect discounts
  • Duplicate products
  • Out-of-stock issues
  • Navigation problems
  • Cart or checkout issues
  • Mobile usability issues
  • Support the implementation of new website features and improvements.

Order & Customer Journey Monitoring

  • Monitor online orders on a daily basis.
  • Follow up on:
  • Pending orders
  • Cancelled orders
  • Failed payments
  • COD issues
  • Delivery issues
  • Stock-related order issues
  • Coordinate with customer service, warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to resolve order-related problems.
  • Monitor the customer journey and raise issues that may affect conversion or customer experience.

Promotions & Campaign Execution

  • Support the implementation of e-commerce campaigns and promotions.
  • Ensure promotional prices, discount codes, banners, landing pages, and campaign content are correctly published.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for campaign launches and promotional activities.
  • Monitor active campaigns and report any website or offer-related issues immediately.
  • Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, new arrivals, and promotional events.
  • Manage and develop CRM and retention activities, including email, SMS, WhatsApp, and customer segmentation campaigns.
  • Work closely with the performance marketing team to optimize Meta, Google, and other paid digital campaigns based on sales and conversion performance.
  • Monitor and improve key e-commerce KPIs including revenue, conversion rate, AOV, traffic, bounce rate, customer acquisition, repeat purchases, and overall profitability.

Merchandising

  • Maintain homepage, category, collection, and product merchandising.
  • Ensure best sellers, new arrivals, promotional products, and priority products receive proper visibility.
  • Support cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Review product positioning and recommend merchandising improvements.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly e-commerce performance.
  • Prepare reports including:
  • Online sales
  • Number of orders
  • Conversion rate
  • Average order value
  • Website traffic
  • Top-selling products
  • Best-performing collections
  • Promotion performance
  • Cancelled orders
  • Failed payments
  • Stock availability
  • Support the E-commerce Manager with performance analysis and reporting.
  • Identify trends, issues, and opportunities from e-commerce data.
  • Provide recommendations based on performance results.

SEO & Website Support

  • Coordinate with the SEO team to implement approved website changes.
  • Ensure website content follows approved SEO requirements.
  • Report technical or content-related SEO issues to the relevant team.

Developer & UI/UX Coordination

  • Coordinate with developers regarding website fixes and development tasks.
  • Test completed development work before final approval.
  • Report bugs and provide clear details and screenshots where required.
  • Work with the UI/UX team to implement website improvements.
  • Identify areas of the website that could improve usability and conversion.
  • Suggest new website features and ideas based on customer behavior and competitor research.

Competitor & Market Monitoring

  • Regularly monitor competitor websites, promotions, pricing, offers, and user experience.
  • Identify new e-commerce trends and opportunities.
  • Suggest ideas that can improve:
  • Conversion rate
  • Customer experience
  • Average order value
  • Product discovery
  • Customer retention
  • Website engagement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in E-commerce, Marketing, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce, digital commerce, or a similar role preferred.
  • Experience working with an e-commerce platform, preferably Shopify.
  • Good understanding of e-commerce operations and online customer journeys.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good Excel or Google Sheets skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and follow priorities set by the E-commerce Manager.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
  • Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4.
  • Basic understanding of Google Search Console.
  • Familiarity with Google Merchant Center is a plus.
  • Basic SEO knowledge.
  • Experience with marketplaces such as Amazon or Noon is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage.
  • Experience in beauty, fragrance, fashion, luxury, or retail e-commerce is preferred.
  • Experience working across multiple brands or regional websites is an advantage.

Reporting Line

The E-commerce Executive will report directly to the E-commerce Manager.

The role will support the E-commerce Manager in implementing the e-commerce strategy, maintaining daily website operations, monitoring performance, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring approved initiatives are executed correctly and on time.
