As our Staff Recruitment and Marketing Administrator, you will play an important role in connecting Massey with talent across Aotearoa New Zealand and internationally. Working alongside our Staff Recruitment Advisors, you will help identify, engage and support the people Massey needs now and as we grow.

You will use market research and digital marketing approaches to support the development of proactive talent pipelines. You will help translate recruitment needs into targeted campaigns through LinkedIn outreach, tailored advertising and employer-brand initiatives that bring the Massey employee experience to life.

You will

  • Support Staff Recruitment Advisors to build talent pipelines for current and emerging workforce needs.
  • Coordinate job listings, advertising schedules and candidate communications to deliver a responsive and positive recruitment experience.
  • Develop targeted digital promotion strategies that increase the visibility and reach of Massey's employment opportunities.
  • Analyse candidate, sourcing and campaign data to inform recruitment approaches and provide useful market insights.
  • Help create content and initiatives that strengthen Massey's employer brand and position us as an employer of choice.
  • Coordinate pre-employment requirements and support immigration-related processes and oversight.

You will join a future-focused Staff Recruitment team supporting hiring managers across Massey's three campuses and wider operations. We are a small, agile and supportive team within People and Culture, working together to strengthen recruitment practice and enable the University's strategic ambitions.

Ko wai koe | About you

  • You hold a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related area-and ideally have had some exposure to recruitment, sourcing, or HR support.
  • You're confident using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, CRMs or other sourcing tools or excited to learn.
  • You enjoy working with people - building relationships, responding to queries, and understanding team needs.
  • You have a data-driven mindset and are always looking for smarter, more efficient ways to work.
  • You bring cultural competence and a commitment to identifying opportunities to trengthen recruitment approaches that honour Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
