Digital Marketing Officer

In the role of Digital Marketing Officer, you will work as part of a team to deliver the marketing strategy of the business by crafting and delivering engaging and effective digital communications to members, the public and stakeholders. You will create and deliver integrated marketing campaigns across the full range of digital channels (social, SEM, display, email, website) to improve the online visibility of the BALI brand and support the membership, policy and education departments in achieving their objectives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with colleagues, members and other stakeholders to develop and maintain a strong understanding of the landscaping industry
- Produce innovative solutions and high-quality content across multiple channels including the Association websites, targeted emails, social media, video, and other digital outlets
- Plan and implement digital campaigns to reflect the business’ key messages with clear calls to action
- Take ownership of all published digital content, including proofreading, to ensure quality control
- Manage the Association’s targeted email marketing, including producing regular newsletters and technical bulletins
- Plan and implement digital campaigns to generate membership leads, support events and promote initiatives
- Devise and run A/B testing to improve results
- Build the company’s profile and following on all relevant social channels
- Act as a data guardian to provide and maintain GDPR compliant mailing lists
- Maintain and update the Association’s various websites and associated SEO, improving the user experience and creating opportunities for business growth
- Capture and analyse performance data, identifying trends to inform and improve future activity
- Keep up to date with emerging technology and developments in the digital space
- Make recommendations for continuous improvement in our digital marketing
- Support the marketing, membership and policy departments with attendance at events where necessary
- Any other duties commensurate with the role.
