The Marketing Automation Email Specialist is detail-oriented and technically skilled in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and able to support the hands-on development, deployment, and maintenance of email campaigns and automations. The Specialist is a tactical executor with deep knowledge of the SFMC platform, coding for email, and data-driven personalization. The Specialist plays a key role in transforming campaign requirements into functional, high-performing emails and journeys within SFMC.Minimum Qualifications:Master's degree in Marketing, Technology, or a related field of study required. Or a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Technology or other related field of study with related work experience equivalent to a master's degree in the proceeding fieldsWorking HTML/CSS knowledge for email development; familiarity with AMPscript and dynamic content techniques.

Basic ability to write and modify SQL queries for audience segmentation.

Working knowledge of conducting QA and testing across devices and platforms (e.g., Litmus, Email on Acid).

Understanding of deliverability, list management, and email compliance practices.

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent internal customer service, effectively translating stakeholder requirements into successful SFMC email campaigns and providing ongoing technical support and troubleshooting.

Proficient in designing and developing email communications within Salesforce Marketing Cloud that adhere to current accessibility standards, ensuring content is usable by individuals with disabilities.

Attention to detail for basic proofreading of email content (e.g., grammar, spelling, punctuation, style consistency) and light professional writing skills.

Working experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Content Builder, Automation Studio, Journey Builder).

Additional Considerations:Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification.

Exposure to Einstein, API usage, and custom preference centers.

Basic familiarity with project management or ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday).

Ability to follow structured workflows and versioning practices in collaborative environments.
