Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist - Contract to Hire
UpworkVeri MedTech is an industry leading healthcare tech organization, known for it's medical cannabis and alternative wellness subsidiaries: Veriheal and Dosepop. We are looking for an experienced Conversation Rate Optimization Specialist who is skilled at problem solving and passionate about testing. We are looking for someone who has proven experience designing with conversion psychology in mind (knowing what people click, why they click, and how to optimize for desired outcomes); and brings previous UX/UI experience working on mobile applications at scale (not just responsive web). Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) Specialist
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute weekly and monthly A/B tests across new initiatives, landing pages, and site updates.
- Own the testing roadmap for new features, services, and site development projects
- Analyze user behavior using heatmaps, session recordings, and analytics tools.
- Identify friction points across patient flows, forms, and booking experiences.
- Develop clear, data-backed hypotheses and success metrics for every test.
- Translate business goals, user needs, and analytics into intuitive, high-impact designs that improve key KPIs (activation, engagement, retention, conversion).
- Build user personas, journey maps, interaction scenarios, and task flows as part of the design process.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with product strategy.
- Partner with UX/UI and Front End teams to design and implement experiments.
- Maintain an understanding of mobile interaction patterns, platform guidelines (iOS/Android), and touch-first design behavior.
- Monitor test performance and determine winners, losers, and next steps.
- Translate test results into actionable recommendations for design and development.
- Track, report, and communicate conversion performance on an ongoing basis.
- Stay current on CRO best practices, testing methodologies, and industry trends.
- Create monthly reports on progress.
