Senior Digital Transformation Project Manager [Stores]

This role will work closely with US store team and Other Business Department members and lead business issue discussions, issue resolutions, business requirement definition and realize workstyle transformation using system functions in order to achieve business outcomes. This will require the understanding of business processes in Store. He/she is expected to collaborate with colleagues cross regions (particularly US and Japan), cross brands, building key partnerships both within the company and externally to realize change and results, as well as be responsible of aligning priorities with the senior leadership of the organization both in US and in Japan to deliver and scale results globally.

Job Description

  • Communicate closely with US Store team and other Business department members to discuss business issues and lead issue resolution and business & system requirement definition documentation.
  • Communicate closely with Japan system development team and provide business & system requirement document and work closely with them to develop new system functions.
  • Organize current business process, business issues, and define future business process and necessary new system functions and system function development cost, lead budget application to Global CEO or Global CFO involving business & IT executive officers.
  • After new system function goes live, lead training/education of the new function utilization and let business users realize future business process and achieve business outcome. This role is responsible for the business outcome achievement.

Main Initiatives

  • Store Inventory Optimization - improve and simplify store sales, inventory planning and sales floor layout. Ensure optimal inventory levels with no out-of-stock and no overallocation at SKU level.
  • Establishment of a Learning Manage System for production and management of training programs for store managers and staff. Programs include onboarding to management level courses for our employees to receive a high standard of training and become business leaders at our 3000 global stores.
  • Building customer service operations and systems to optimize customer experience.
  • Research, test, and implement new technologies to automate and optimize store operations. (e.g. real-time store inventory, digital marketing displays)
  • Identify new store operations centered on AI and develop a roadmap for their realization.
  • Establish and implement a process for the rapid development of low cost, in-house systems. Promote the deployment of AI where appropriate.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ business consulting or system implementation experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in retail industry
  • Experience in business process analysis, issue identification and future business process development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in reforming store operations and building systems to implement these reforms.
  • Knowledge and experience of store operations in the apparel industry

Location: Expect all members to be in our office at least 3 days in a week

Night Shift Work: This position needs to attend regular meetings with JP team in NY night time from 6:00pm to 8:00pm EST at least 3 days a week.
