WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Director, Communications & Marketing is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping StormFisher Hydrogen’s communications and brand presence, both internally and externally. This bilingual role will lead communications and develop integrated marketing strategies that support StormFisher’s growth and positioning in the clean energy sector.
The Director will work closely with executives, government stakeholders and employees at all levels to strengthen StormFisher’s profile, foster engagement, and ensure consistent and culturally appropriate messaging across Québec and beyond.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Communications Leadership
- Develop and implement internal and external communication strategies aligned with StormFisher’s mission, values, and strategic priorities.
 - Lead the creation of communication frameworks and campaigns for corporate initiatives, ensuring consistency across platforms and stakeholders.
 - Draft, edit, and review CEO and executive-level communications in French and English.
 - Manage media inquiries and engagement.
 - Provide guidance to leadership on tone, messaging and employee engagement, ensuring content resonates with key local and international stakeholders.
 - Create and maintain communication toolkits, media kits, templates and processes to support organizational consistency.
 
Government & Stakeholder Communications
- Collaborate on the preparation of materials for permitting, licensing, funding applications, and other government submissions.
 - Ensure accuracy and compliance of all materials submitted to regulators and funding agencies.
 - Collaborate with leadership on strategic messaging for government and community engagement.
 
Marketing & Brand Leadership
- Build and execute a multichannel marketing strategy to strengthen StormFisher’s brand presence within Québec and globally.
 - Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and event-based channels.
 - Ensure alignment between communications, marketing, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
 - Collaborate with industry associations, media outlets, and external agencies to increase visibility and thought leadership.
 - Track marketing impact and ROI to inform future strategy.
 
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Fully bilingual (French and English), with outstanding writing and editing skills in both languages.
 - 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, marketing, or public affairs, ideally in Québec.
 - Proven experience leading communications and marketing in complex or regulated industries (energy, industrial, government-funded sectors preferred).
 - Demonstrated success in change management communications and brand building.
 - Strong stakeholder engagement experience, including with government, media, and industry partners.
 - Ability to translate technical or complex content into clear, engaging messaging.
 - Strong leadership skills, with experience mentoring teams and working cross-functionally at senior levels.
