About the Role - As Head of Marketing & Brand, you’ll own our brand narrative and how we engage prospective customers. From thought leadership and media to demand generation and events, you’ll shape how the world sees Statt — and drive results that fuel our next phase of growth.

Responsibilities

Brand & Strategy

  • Define a distinct, resonant brand identity for Statt
  • Ensure messaging consistency across every channel and asset

Demand Generation

  • Design and execute B2B marketing programs (web, SEO/SEM, email, social, events)
  • Own the marketing funnel and optimize for qualified pipeline

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Create high-impact content — white papers, op-eds, blog posts, panels
  • Elevate Statt’s voice in policy tech through earned and paid media

Media & Communications

  • Build relationships with DC media and policy influencers
  • Lead press strategy, announcements, and PR execution

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with product, sales, and customer success
  • Manage vendors, freelancers, and agencies as needed

You Bring

5–10 years leading B2B marketing & comms in SaaS or gov/policy tech

Deep knowledge of the DC ecosystem and policy decision-makers

Track record of building brands and growing pipeline

Outstanding writing, storytelling, and leadership skills

Marketing tech fluency (CRM, analytics, content, etc.)

Startup mindset: comfortable navigating ambiguity, wearing multiple hats, and rolling up your sleeves to get things done, whether tactical or strategic.

Pay range and compensation package - Competitive salary based on experience ($140,000 - $160,00) + performance bonus + equity.

Work Environment - This is a hybrid role based in our fantastic Washington, DC or Austin, TX office (3 days per week) . Being close to our team — and the policy community — supports stronger strategy, creativity, and execution.
