Business Analyst

This Business Analyst will support the Revenue Management team, helping absorb analytical and operational workload from the Financial Analyst function. The role blends data analysis, credit & collections support, and light project coordination responsibilities.
You’ll operate in a fast-paced setting where strong organization, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams are critical. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role with meaningful exposure to customer billing and revenue operations.
What you will work on
Provide analytical and operational support across Revenue Management functions
Manage overflow workload from the Financial Analyst team, ensuring timely reporting and deliverables
Write, execute, and analyze SQL queries to support reporting, reconciliation, and performance tracking
Support Credit & Collections activities through data analysis, reporting, and process oversight
Coordinate and delegate tasks across team members based on functional responsibilities
Identify opportunities to streamline billing, customer operations, and revenue-related processes
Work within the Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing (CC&B) platform to support billing and customer lifecycle processes
What you will bring
Hands-on experience with Oracle CC&B in a utility environment (water, gas, or electric preferred)
Functional knowledge of utility customer operations and customer service workflows
Experience supporting Credit & Collections processes
Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write and interpret complex queries
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
Strong organizational and project coordination capabilities
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial and operational data
Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities
