SEO Expert for Yoga Studio in Kelowna, BC (AI & SGE Savvy)

We’re a vibrant, long-standing yoga studio located in Kelowna, BC, seeking a forward-thinking SEO specialist who can help optimize our website for local visibility within a 60–100 km radius (Okanagan region). Our goal is to increase organic search traffic, improve local discovery, and ensure our website is aligned with how people actually search today—especially with AI and evolving Google tools like SGE (Search Generative Experience).

We’re looking for someone who is technical, but also strategic—a partner who can guide us, work collaboratively, and help our small team learn along the way.

Who You Are

• You’re ahead of SEO trends and understand how AI is changing search behavior.
• You have proven experience with local SEO and can demonstrate success with regional businesses (bonus if you’ve worked with wellness or fitness brands).
• You know how to optimize for both human experience and search visibility.
• You’re collaborative and love helping others understand the “why” behind the work.
• You stay up to date on tools, schema markup, SGE, and shifts in search engine algorithms.
• You value clean, intuitive website structure and good UX.

Project Scope

• Audit of our current website.
• Keyword and content strategy tailored to the Kelowna/Okanagan area
• On-page SEO: titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, image alt-text, etc.
• Google Business Profile optimization + review strategy
• Schema markup and SGE readiness
• Suggestions for blog or content opportunities

Bonus if you

• Are Canadian-based or familiar with BC markets
• Have experience with yoga, wellness, or fitness studios
• Can explain things simply and empower small businesses to grow online
